Kroydell was born in the Philippines and raised in Chicago. At The Theatre School, his most notable credits include Orlando in The Conduct of Life, directed by Jen Bevard; Lord Stanley in Richard III, directed by Catherine Weidner; Dr. Dorn in The Seagull, directed by Christopher Garcia Peak; The Steward in Ile, directed by Thomas Weitz; and Humpty Dumpty in Alice in Wonderland, directed by Sean Graney.
