Stephanie received her BFA at New York University, where she trained at the Stella Adler Conservatory and in Eastern Europe. While in New York, she co-founded Ailanthus Theatre Company in Brooklyn, and performed in Three Days of Rain, Tiny Alice, Sympathetic Magic, and directed Slavs! For two years, she toured with Shakesperience Productions as an actor, director, and educator in schools throughout Connecticut. In 2006, she returned to Bulgaria to work with the Rhodopi International Theatre Collective. There she performed in The Bacchae and studied intercultural theatre and autership. Her Theatre School credits include Bananas in The House of Blue Leaves, Lady M in Macbeth, Mrs. Alving in Ghosts, Joy in Aloha Say the Pretty Girls, and Keechie in Thieves Like Us. She is an avid fan of movement and circus arts, and is currently attempting to learn the ukulele.
